IDEA joins the EU Youth Dialogue Platform

In October 2023, the Directorate General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA) invited youth organizations to become part of the new Youth Dialogue Platform (YDP). This space, created in the framework of the Youth Action Plan (2022-2027), promises to be an important space for communication and cooperation between youth and the EU.
We are happy to announce that IDEA Central Asia has become one of the participants of this platform! This is an important step for IDEA. Firstly, it will allow us to communicate directly with key figures and bodies of the EU, representing the interests and opinions of young people. We believe that young people should be actively involved in decisions that affect them, and the Platform gives us just such an opportunity. In addition, this participation strengthens our global network and opens up new opportunities for international cooperation. We will be able to exchange experiences and ideas with other youth organizations from around the world, which will undoubtedly inform our activities and allow us to make a meaningful contribution to the development of youth policies.
The Youth Dialogue Platform brings together more than 250 organizations from around the world that are actively working with young people and want to create a space for the exchange of experiences, ideas and initiatives. These organizations come from a wide variety of backgrounds, including education, science, culture, sports, and social projects, providing members and participants of the Platform with comprehensive support and access to a variety of resources.
It is important to us that the voice of young people is heard and taken into account at the highest level. We believe that participating in the EU Youth Dialogue Platform will help us achieve this goal and make the world a better place.
